The establishment of Semar Tunisia represented a valid alternative to guarantee fast delivery times to European customers. To launch the plant, the management and its employees worked at the forefront of the selection process, which allowed them to identify reliable and motivated resources who still work with us today. A significant investment in technical training allowed us to achieve expertise in all phases of the production process. The opening of this new production facility represented a milestone in Semar's history, establishing it as an international partner for its customers and suppliers.
TODAY
Semar Tunisia's headquarters are located in Fouchana, near Tunis. Full compliance with all Semar Group quality and safety standards is implemented locally, resulting in high production standards. Here too, the Italian staff closely monitors all stages of the industrialization process, working in real time with local resources and supervising the start-up of all projects.
Currently, the Tunisian plant has reached high levels of autonomy from the Italian headquarter and completely manage itself some business process among which purchasing and supply chain.
TOMORROW
The ability to adapt to foreign realities and the great willingness to always confront different points of view have allowed the company to grow.
The Tunisian plant has grown steadily over time and now employs about 170 people and has a production area of 3,000 square metres.
In the future, we are aiming for further development in line with the growth trend of the Semar Group.
Our goal is for the company to continue the evolution process it has already embarked on in order to strengthen its presence internationally.
